Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing our counselors to enjoy a flexible work setting while maintaining high-quality patient care. Counselors will also have opportunities to engage with clients in our outpatient office in Clarksville, Tennessee. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver personalized therapy strategies based on comprehensive assessments and evaluations of each client’s individual needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy to support individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive client care, thereby enhancing patient outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that meets legal, ethical, and professional standards, ensuring confidentiality and thoroughness.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and staying abreast of the latest mental health research, thus ensuring best practices are utilized in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Walden, you will work with a diverse clientele, addressing various mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues. Your expertise will allow you to provide effective care to individuals seeking support in navigating these challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with family therapy, couples therapy, and trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and related technologies for documentation and client management.

• Demonstrated success in establishing rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 110,000 annually, accompanied by opportunities for performance bonuses.
