Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload, building strong rapport with clients while maintaining ethical boundaries and professionalism.

• Conduct regular sessions to track client progress, discuss treatment milestones, and determine appropriate discharge planning when suitable.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, incorporating evidence-based methodologies.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates for each client in compliance with organizational policies.

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify client needs and begin formulating effective treatment strategies.

• Lead individual counseling sessions weekly, utilizing therapeutic techniques tailored to each youth’s situation.

• Engage in individual supervision, continuously enhancing clinical skills and professional development.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, to ensure holistic treatment approaches for clients.

• Adopt a growth mindset, remaining receptive to feedback and new learning opportunities within the clinical environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on working with youth, including adolescents experiencing a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. The clinician will be responsible for understanding the developmental needs of youth and adapting therapeutic approaches accordingly to foster effective communication and engagement.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.

• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements relevant to clinical practice.

• Proven skills in working with psychiatric populations and/or individuals experiencing substance use issues.

• Demonstrated proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
