Navigate Family & Youth Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our dynamic team in Springfield, Illinois. In this full-time remote role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the mental health and well-being of children, youth, and families. We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our community.

Work Environment\n

Our practice operates in an outpatient office setting, but we also offer flexibility through remote work options to provide a balanced work-life dynamic. Our office is designed to be a calming environment that encourages therapeutic engagement, while our remote framework ensures that our services remain accessible to those in need, regardless of their location. We operate seven days a week, from 7 am to 10 pm, allowing team members the flexibility to schedule their sessions in a way that suits them best.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and determine suitable therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual, with a focus on trauma recovery and resilience building.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Delivering individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions to help clients articulate and process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote holistic healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for each patient.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure client safety and well-being.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster empowerment and understanding.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Staying informed of current research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve service delivery.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Illinois.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications for documentation purposes.
