Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a caseload of clients, establishing strong rapport and positive working relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess progress, discuss stability, and schedule follow-up appointments or modifications to treatment as needed.

• Develop, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals and needs.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and progress notes for each client to ensure continuity of care and accurate treatment records.

• Perform thorough intake assessments, gathering comprehensive information to inform treatment planning.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions weekly, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and approaches.
\n
• Engage in regular individual supervision to enhance skills and receive feedback on clinical practices.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care and treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on youth, including adolescents and young adults, who experience a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. Our clinicians are trained to provide trauma-informed care and are particularly equipped to address the unique factors that influence the mental health of younger clients. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a nurturing and supportive environment where clients feel safe to express themselves and work toward their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.

• Ability to meet all requirements for internal credentialing within relevant clinical settings.

• Demonstrated experience working with psychiatric and/or substance abuse populations.
\n
• Strong competence in performing assessments and diagnosis as well as facilitating individual and group therapy.

• Basic computer skills including familiarity with electronic health records and treatment documentation processes.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in a clinical setting working with youth clients.

• Experience in a therapeutic setting that incorporates both intake assessments and ongoing therapy.

• Proven track record in using a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the needs of adolescents and young adults.

Compensation and Benefits\n
