Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCPC, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and ongoing evaluations to address the specific needs of clients, ensuring they receive tailored care.

• Communicating effectively with supervisors, direct care staff, families, and other stakeholders regarding client progress, enhancing collective understanding and support.

• Providing a detailed schedule of appointments, home visits, and observations to facilitate efficient monitoring of client development and therapy outcomes.

• Coordinating essential home visits to conduct in-home observations, chart reviews, and staff interviews, thereby enriching the support network for clients.

• Implementing program plans that not only align with established protocols but also adapt to client feedback for effectiveness in practice.

• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and contributing valuable insights to enhance service delivery and client care.

• Documenting comprehensive monthly and quarterly progress notes that reflect client advancements and ongoing needs.

• Organizing training sessions that empower staff and team members in understanding and applying the program plan, bolstering overall service quality.

• Providing consistent follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations, ensuring continuous support for client needs and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, facilitating transparency and ease of access for authorized individuals involved in client care.

• Acting as a liaison between clients and the broader mental health community to support efforts towards achieving developmental goals.

• Assisting in the development of procedures and training materials aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of programs offered to clients.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling setting, preferably in a clinical context.

• A strong foundation in various therapeutic approaches, with specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse highly preferred.

• A deep understanding of legal and ethical standards governing clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
