Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.

• Utilize cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) for accurate client documentation, thereby ensuring compliance with insurance providers including Medicaid and Medicare.

• Develop and implement treatment plans addressing various issues including mental health disorders, trauma, and dual diagnoses.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse clientele within the community health clinic setting. Your clients may include individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex issues involving trauma and dual diagnoses. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, requiring cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the unique barriers they may face in accessing mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.

• A minimum of three years of direct experience in mental health counseling.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a solid ability to build rapport with clients remotely.

• Proficient in using technology for telehealth services, including a reliable computer with internet access and a web camera.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.

• Completion of a background check is required for this position.
