Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for each client.
\n
• Maintain regular communication with supervisors and colleagues to discuss client progress and treatment adjustments.
\n
• Prepare and submit a tentative schedule of appointments, home visits, and client observations to ensure comprehensive care.
\n
• Facilitate home visits as appropriate to assess client environments and support treatment goals.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, ensuring their proper implementation.
\n
• Engage in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and contribute valuable insights for comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Document client progress and update monthly and quarterly reports to track outcomes.
\n
• Provide training and support to fellow team members to enhance the implementation of programs and patient care.
\n
• Conduct follow-up interviews and home visits as necessary to ensure continuous client support.
\n
• Serve as a liaison between clients and the broader mental health community to facilitate resource allocation.
\n
• Contribute to the development of training materials that improve program efficacy and staff competency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including adults and youth. Your clients may present with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relational issues, particularly in family and couples dynamics. Your approach will emphasize personalized care, ensuring that each client receives the attention and support necessary to achieve their treatment goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Must possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, with a preference for those with clinical experience.
\n
• Familiarity with advanced techniques in family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team setting.
\n
• Must be proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technology.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with varied populations, particularly in outpatient or community mental health settings.

• Certification or training in specialized therapeutic modalities relevant to family and trauma therapy.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and adapting services to virtual formats.

Compensation and Benefits\n
