This role allows for the flexibility of remote work while contributing to our outpatient office located in San Francisco, California. Work Environment\n

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify the needs of patients and develop customized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances and goals.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver evidence-based interventions to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational seminars and support groups, promoting community engagement and providing resources to address common mental health challenges.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute mental health issues, ensuring immediate support and safety.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, range of treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, safeguarding patient information.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities to remain current on best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

Our therapists work with a diverse patient population, addressing an array of mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and proven familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective interaction with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling or therapy in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
