Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Intellect Capacity Mental Clinic, you will be entrusted with various responsibilities designed to improve client outcomes:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient.

• Facilitate effective communication channels among families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams to support the development of individuals under your care.

• Develop and share treatment plans with clinical supervisors, detailing appointment schedules, home visits, and observation sessions to ensure continual progress tracking.

• Arrange and execute home visits for in-depth evaluations, staff interviews, and reporting on home-based observations.
\n
• Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, providing insights and collaborative strategies to enhance program effectiveness.
\n
• Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes that highlight client development and plan adjustments.
\n
• Conduct follow-up assessments, home visits, and collaborative observations to ensure that ongoing client needs are being met.
\n
• Maintain and organize accurate records to ensure seamless access to patient information for authorized personnel.
\n
• Assist in the development of ongoing training materials and programs to enhance the skills of team members in mental health best practices.

• Serve as a liaison between the clinic, clients, and the larger mental health community to further enhance outreach and service quality.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele that includes both adults and youth. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably with a focus on clinical settings.

• Demonstrated specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly valued.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
