Contract Administrator

Contracts AdministratorSerco Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, career-oriented Contracts Administrator to fill a challenging role in a quick changing, growing, and customer-oriented culture. This is a fast paced, cradle-to-grave contracting position which will require the administration of a variety of federal contracts, handling of multiple pre-bid opportunities, proposal activities, negotiations, contract award, and administration of the resultant contract. The Contracts Administrator will work directly with customers and senior leaders for this business.This role will be responsible for administering contract(s) with moderate to high risk. Successful performance will require a high degree of independent and creative judgment applied to goals and objectives of the corporation.This position can be staffed at any of the locations listed below:Hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days in officeSan Diego, CAColorado Springs, CONorfolk/Virginia Beach, VAHerndon, VAIn this role you will:Act as the primary point-of-contact with the Customer Contracting Officer or BuyerServe as a focal point for communication with Finance, Legal, and business team members for resolution of contract matters and disputesUnderstand the business being conducted, the financial/analytical issues, and profit and loss implicationsSupport proposal activity through preparation of NDA, TA, and the analysis of contract structurePerform risk analysis on RFP content and provide guidance to the proposal teamDevelop negotiation strategy and lead negotiation team for contractual issuesWork with different contract types, terminate, and close out contractsReview and manage contractual obligations of the company to ensure that all terms and conditions are metIdentify changes to contract requirements and costs and lead recovery through change proposalsAnalyze significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure and communicate results to team membersAssist in identification, development, and implementation of new contract policy and processesManage special projects when assignedTo be successful in this role you will have:A Bachelor’s degreeAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearanceUS CitizenshipA minimum of 5 years of professional working experienceProfessional certification through NCMA or a collegeStrong writing and analytic skills essentialDemonstrated leadership skillsBroad experience covering both services and product contractingAn understanding of international, state, local and commercial contractingAbility to travel up to 10%Strong analytic skillsMust be self-motivated
