Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Intermountain Healthcare & Recovery Center, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms associated with mood disorders in clients.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs, goals, and preferences.
\n
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring interventions to meet individual client requirements.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices.
\n
• Monitor client progress continuously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evolving needs and feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advances in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapy strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients navigating a range of mood disorders, anxiety issues, and situational challenges. You will provide individual therapy as well as group sessions when appropriate, fostering a community of support and healing. Our diverse client base requires a therapist who can demonstrate empathy and build trust while addressing complex emotional dilemmas.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
