Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist

As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in St. Petersburg. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who has a basic understanding of A/R and A/P and is ready to learn. Extensive experience isn't required. We're willing to train and develop the right person who brings attention to detail, organization, and a willingness to grow. What You’ll Do Enter daily customer invoices, vendor bills, and credit card charges Monitor aging reports and follow up on payment delays or discrepancies Apply customer payments and maintain accurate A/R records Reconcile A/R, A/P, and credit card accounts at month-end Work with our sales and customer service teams to resolve billing questions Communicate with our production team regarding subcontractor and vendor issues Help maintain accurate and organized financial records What We're Looking For Basic knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable preferred, but not required Entry-level accounting experience or relevant education is welcome Strong attention to detail and accuracy Organized and able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable communicating with different departments Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel QuickBooks experience is a plus Lead Perfection experience is a plus, but not required Willingness to learn, take feedback, and continue developing your accounting skills Why Join Sunbelt?
