Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for couples and families to identify their needs and establish therapeutic goals.

• Facilitating therapy sessions for couples while also meeting with each partner individually to address specific concerns and dynamics.

• Managing complex cases involving issues such as alcohol abuse, physical and psychological abuse, grief, and loss, while prioritizing the well-being of all family members.

• Helping clients navigate conflicts among family members, communication difficulties, and adjustment to significant life transitions such as separations or divorce.

• Providing psychoeducation to families about mental health issues and effective coping strategies.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records and progress notes consistent with ethical and legal standards.
