Methodist Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and flexible Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a fully remote, full-time counseling position. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide virtual therapy services to clients, helping them navigate their emotional and psychological challenges. You will have a minimum caseload of 25 clients, focusing on delivering quality care while we manage the administrative aspects of your practice.

Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, enabling you to set your own schedule Monday through Friday, with weekend availability as needed. Our Hospice Center provides a supportive network and resources to ensure you can focus on your core responsibilities without the distractions of administrative burdens. You'll be using cutting-edge electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and monitor progress efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for new clients, developing personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
\n
• Provide virtual therapy sessions focusing on effective therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention when necessary, tailoring responses to individual client situations to ensure safety and provide appropriate support.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training and supervision, enhancing skills specific to current mental health trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adult clients aged 18 and older, with an emphasis on those facing terminal illness and end-of-life challenges. Attention to diverse populations, including the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals from minority backgrounds, is an integral part of our approach. Your ability to understand the complexities of men’s mental health, as well as cultural sensitivities, will enhance the quality of the support we provide.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active LCSW license to practice in the State of New Jersey.
\n
• Minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience in counseling.
\n
• Professional malpractice insurance is required prior to beginning work.
\n
• Experience in providing psychotherapy to a diverse adult population.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and a passion for supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Background in men’s mental health counseling is advantageous.

• A track record of working effectively in remote settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
