As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operative in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will bring reliability, integrity, agility, and teamwork to each shift while contributing to an innovative, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, dock doors, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for people, vehicles, and deliveries, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation as required by site policies, and report discrepancies or suspicious behavior.
• Support loss prevention and other security-related operations by observing facility activity, communicating clearly with site personnel, and following post orders for escalated situations and after-hours coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
