Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced laboratory tests—spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and take part in preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, take part in training for new team members or students, and consistently uphold quality standards of the lab.
• Ensure a sanitized and safe work environment while following regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of starting.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
