Patient Care Coordinator

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Patient Care Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA. This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Six-month contract, opportunity for extension!

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am and 5pm

Pay: $19.00 an hour

Responsibilities of the Patient Care Coordinator:

• Manage patient check in and check out processes, including verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and obtaining required documentation

• Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone with a professional and compassionate demeanor

• Conduct patient outreach calls to schedule appointments, including preventive care visits and follow-ups

• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments while maintaining accurate records

• Meet outreach, scheduling, and preventive care quality targets

• Serve as a primary resource for resolving patient inquiries or concerns

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations

• Maintain accurate records in electronic health record (EHR) systems

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Patient Care Coordinator:

• High School Graduate or GED

• One year of healthcare or medical office experience preferred

• Experience with EPIC EMR required

• Bilingual - Spanish/English

• Clear, compassionate, and professional verbal communication

• Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines, and phones.

• Ability to interact with others, both in person and through phone, e-mail, and written correspondence.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
