Patient Care Coordinator

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Patient Care Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA. This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:
Type: Six-month contract, opportunity for extension!
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am and 5pm
Pay: $19.00 an hour
Responsibilities of the Patient Care Coordinator:
Manage patient check in and check out processes, including verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and obtaining required documentation
Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone with a professional and compassionate demeanor
Conduct patient outreach calls to schedule appointments, including preventive care visits and follow-ups
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments while maintaining accurate records
Meet outreach, scheduling, and preventive care quality targets
Serve as a primary resource for resolving patient inquiries or concerns
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations
Maintain accurate records in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Patient Care Coordinator:
High School Graduate or GED
One year of healthcare or medical office experience preferred
Experience with EPIC EMR required
Bilingual - Spanish/English
Clear, compassionate, and professional verbal communication
Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines, and phones.
Ability to interact with others, both in person and through phone, e-mail, and written correspondence.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
