Darden Business Research Methods Research Assistant (Student Wage) (Remote)

Position Summary Darden is hiring a research assistant for the Summer 2026 to synthesize and integrate methods information for graduate business methods classes. Responsibilities Locate and summarize academic literature on a variety of topics Write summary material of theoretical and philosophical texts with attention to how they inform research methods Other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Very strong written and verbal communication skills Strong synthesis skills (reading and summarizing arguments) Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently while balancing multiple projects Familiarity with key theoretical and philosophical thinkers such as Hobbs, Rawls, Locke, Weber, Foucault, and similar preferred Graduate students are encouraged to apply; position is open to students in business, social sciences, humanities, philosophy or other disciplines with strong writing skills Compensation and Work Hours Pay rate: $25 per hour. Position offers 10–25 hours per week during the summer. Physical Demands This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers.
