Work Environment\n

This position operates within an outpatient office setting where you will collaborate with a team of mental health professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional care. As a remote therapist, you will engage with clients via secure telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility while maintaining a supportive therapeutic alliance. Our typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts required on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorders, focusing on symptom severity, duration, and impacts on daily functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that encompass their individual goals, preferences, and specific needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Educate clients and their families on managing mood disorders through treatment options and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting their treatment plans dynamically to enhance outcomes and address changing needs.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to client care, facilitating seamless communication and treatment adjustments.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering strictly to ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest research and methodologies in mood disorder treatment.

• Advocate for clients, working to de-stigmatize mood disorders and empower them toward recovery and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our patient population is diverse, reflecting different ages, ethnic backgrounds, and socio-economic statuses. You will play a pivotal role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health challenges, fostering resilience, self-awareness, and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Possession of valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Two years of post-licensure experience, preferably with specialized training in mood disorders and related interventions.

• Strong command of evidence-based therapies, particularly CBT and DBT, with a record of effective client outcomes.

• Understanding of psychopharmacological treatments and the ability to collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills and an aptitude for building rapport with clients from varied backgrounds and experiences.

Compensation and Benefits\n
