Bring your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to a dynamic educational setting and help support students in grades K-12 for the 26/27 academic year. This full-time, onsite opportunity focuses on delivering essential speech and language services, with special emphasis on students using or needing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, designing individualized intervention plans, and making a direct positive impact on the communication development of school-aged children.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license in Maine
• Maine Educator Certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience with K-12 caseloads preferred
• Familiarity with implementing and supporting AAC systems
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, with a focus on AAC support
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
• Serve as a resource for AAC device training and integration across settings
