Senior Accountant

A bit about us:

We're working with a growing organization that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its team. This person will play an important role in helping build out the accounting function as the company continues to grow.

This is a great opportunity for someone coming from a Big 4 or Top 10 public accounting background who is ready to take on more ownership and have a direct impact on how an accounting organization operates.

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to strengthen accounting processes, improve reporting, and help transition certain functions from outside providers to an internal accounting team.

Job Details

What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Active CPA required.
3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Previous experience with a Big 4 or nationally recognized Top 10 public accounting firm.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles.
Experience with ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases).
Experience with complex month-end close responsibilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and ability to work effectively across departments.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Someone who enjoys improving and building processes rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
