Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing our therapists to conduct therapy sessions in a flexible and comfortable setting. While our clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be necessary to accommodate the varying schedules of our clients. This flexible work arrangement enhances the ability to meet our patient's needs while promoting a balanced work-life dynamic for our staff.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments through interviews, standardized tests, and observational techniques to determine the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each young client's unique circumstances, including familial dynamics and developmental stages.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems therapy, to address conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to strengthen familial relationships and empower parents and caregivers with the necessary tools to support their children.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring a seamless therapeutic experience for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, employing established protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of your clients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their wellness journey.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to stay updated on best practices and advancing strategies in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents grappling with a variety of mental health issues. This includes treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and conduct disorders. Working closely with their families, you will create a supportive and understanding atmosphere essential for effective treatment. Tailoring your approach to each age group, you will use age-appropriate strategies and interventions to connect with your clients, ensuring they feel safe and heard.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license in the state of California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in settings focused on child and adolescent mental health.

• Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, evidence-based practices, and child and adolescent mental health disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate, child-focused approach to care.
\n
• Successful track record of building trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
