Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the cultivation of resilience, ensuring each patient’s unique circumstances are addressed.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide patient recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process traumas and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals in our facility to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support, offering immediate assistance and stabilization during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support resources.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of patient interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings while committing to ongoing professional development related to trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance treatment methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.
