About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate General Counsel with a focus on regulatory and commercial matters. The successful candidate will be the primary legal advisor on a range of regulatory issues, including product development, marketing, labeling, packaging, and commercialization. This role requires a strategic partner who can ensure compliance with U.S. regulatory requirements, advise on product claims and marketing practices, and develop scalable compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. degree, active bar membership, and at least 6 years of legal experience in regulatory, advertising, marketing, or consumer products matters. A strong understanding of U.S. regulatory frameworks and a proven ability to influence stakeholders across various business functions are essential. Key responsibilities for the Associate General Counsel include reviewing and assessing regulatory and legal risks associated with product claims, marketing materials, and consumer communications. The role also involves monitoring regulatory developments, translating legal risks into business guidance, and enhancing internal compliance frameworks. The candidate should have a background in highly regulated consumer product environments, experience in building compliance programs, and the ability to provide strategic counsel to senior leadership. Familiarity with regulatory enforcement trends and consumer litigation risks, as well as experience in global organizations, is a plus. The position demands a professional with strong business judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support the company's growth initiatives.
