About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of People & Culture to join its Executive Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the transformation of the organization's people function, culture, and policies, with a focus on driving key HR best practices and initiatives. This role requires strategic leadership in areas such as talent acquisition, organizational development, learning, internal communications, and accessibility. The VPPC will also be instrumental in shaping and implementing frameworks for leadership development, performance management, and change management, and will oversee a team dedicated to these efforts. Candidates for the VPPC position should be inclusive leaders with a growth mindset, strong emotional intelligence, and a proven track record in driving change and shaping organizational culture. The role demands a results-driven, agile change agent with the ability to cultivate strong relationships and collaborate effectively. The ideal candidate will have a background in HR, with a focus on leadership development and employee relations, and a deep knowledge of HR disciplines. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a master's degree or HR certification. While experience in a mission-driven, multifaceted nonprofit organization is valued, candidates from both nonprofit and for-profit environments with transferable skills and a passion for the mission are encouraged to apply.
