You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security‑related incidents according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Be 21 years of age or older. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
