Psychiatric Technician (Safety) Structured Treatment Program (STP) My Activity Plan and Participation (MAPP) Specialist

Patton State Hospital, Human Resources Department, is accepting applications for at least one (1) permanent, full-time Psychiatric Technician (Safety) Structured Treatment Program (STP) My Activity Plan and Participation (MAPP) Specialist position within the Enhancement Services Department. The incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Director of the Structured Treatment Program. The position will perform the level of care nursing duties, primarily focused on facilitating treatment hospital-wide.

The Psychiatric Technician (STP-MAPP Specialist) will work collaboratively with assigned clinical programs, treatment teams, and clinicians to support patient enrollment and participation in appropriate group and individual treatment activities. The incumbent will assist with coordinating treatment-related activities and contribute to the delivery of effective patient care within a safe, secure, and structured treatment environment.

The incumbent will demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, and experience utilizing the Wellness and Recovery Model Support System (WaRMMS) or a comparable electronic health record, treatment management, or clinical information system to document, track, and manage patient treatment plans, schedules, participation, and other treatment-related information including My Activity Plan and Participation (MAPP) functions or comparable patient activity planning and participation tracking processes.

MUST possess a valid Psychiatric Technician License issued by the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
