Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility provides a collaborative and dynamic environment where each team member plays a crucial role in patient recovery. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to optimize treatment outcomes. With a patient-focused approach, you will see a manageable volume of 1-2 patients per hour, ensuring you can provide the individualized attention each case deserves.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs and establish individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities, to alleviate pain and promote recovery.
• Guide patients through post-surgical rehabilitation processes and educate them about necessary adjustments to prevent reinjury.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create a cohesive plan tailored to each patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Document assessments, treatment interventions, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards to ensure continuity of care.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy practices and integrate appropriate techniques to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, and addressing acute musculoskeletal injuries. Our patient base encompasses diverse demographics, providing you with the opportunity to gain broad experience in treatment approaches that cater to varying needs and recovery timelines.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Possession of an active California Physical Therapist license.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Proficient skills in manual therapy techniques and intervention strategies unique to orthopedic care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate and educate patients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of professional experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation settings.
• A background in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to patient-specific needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience. As a full-time employee, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:
