Capital Life Orthopedics is a leading outpatient physical therapy practice located in the heart of San Bernardino. Our state-of-the-art facility boasts a spacious 5000 square foot environment designed specifically for sports medicine and rehabilitation. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalized care to our patients, primarily serving those with private medical insurance. Our team consists of experienced professionals dedicated to fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite in our outpatient office, where you will work regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. You will be collaborating closely with two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) in delivering evidence-based treatments. The facility is equipped with modern rehabilitation tools and EMR software, such as WebPT, to streamline patient management and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and effectively meet the rehabilitation goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage and maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and quality care.
• Design and implement tailored care plans that utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Engage in continuous evaluation of treatment effectiveness, track patient progress, and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Minimize reliance on medications by offering cost-effective treatment solutions that enhance physical functions without surgical measures.
• Motivate and encourage patients in achieving their functional goals, promoting best practices for a healthy lifestyle.
• Document all services rendered and provide clear communication with both patients and the broader healthcare team.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated care strategies that optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses on a diverse range of patients experiencing orthopedic challenges, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. By utilizing individualized treatment plans, you will help clients restore their mobility and reach their peak performance levels.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in California, with no recorded instances of disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior working experience in an orthopedic outpatient care setting is highly preferred, showcasing your capability in managing similar patient demographics.
• Proven ability to perform thorough evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, complemented by comprehensive benefits packages that may include health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
