Our sports medicine facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced technology to provide state-of-the-art care. Our clientele primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on quality rather than quantity. Our team currently includes two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to fostering an environment of collaboration and professional development.

Work Environment

This position is offered onsite at our modern clinic located in San Bernardino, CA. The work schedule consists of Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that enables our staff to maintain their personal well-being while providing exceptional care to our patients. During your daily routine, you will have access to our extensive resources and will collaborate closely with your colleagues to ensure patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual goals, needs, and treatment history.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one patient per hour to ensure focused attention and effective treatment.
• Employ evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality, individualized physical therapy interventions.
• Promote and teach alternative, non-surgical treatments to enhance patient outcomes.
• Evaluate patient progress consistently and adjust treatment plans as needed based on comprehensive feedback.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately within our EMR system (WebPT).
• Foster relationships with your patients by encouraging and motivating them through their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on the latest practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic outpatient care, working with a diverse patient population including individuals dealing with post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and preventive care. Our patients typically seek innovative solutions to enhance their mobility and overall health, providing you a rewarding opportunity to impact lives positively.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and possess a valid license to practice in California.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions should have been taken against your license.
• Demonstrate strong manual therapy skills and the ability to implement effective exercise regimes tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, enabling efficient patient data management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing a deep understanding of rehabilitation practices.
• Proficiency in innovative treatment techniques that improve patient outcomes and enhance recovery processes.
• Experience collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient support.

Compensation and Benefits
