Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of new patients to develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to their unique needs.

• Implementing one-on-one therapy sessions, frequently using a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and high-end technology to enhance recovery.

• Documenting patient progress thoroughly, preparing clinical summaries, and ensuring effective communication with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.

• Engaging with clients through follow-up calls to monitor progress and provide ongoing support, which is considered vital to their recovery.

• Facilitating small group fitness classes and educational workshops, contributing to a community approach to health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily serve active and athletic individuals aged 35 and older, including elite and professional athletes. This population is characterized by their motivation and commitment to recovery, as well as their willingness to engage with the rehabilitation process. You may also work with children and teens facing orthopedic challenges, helping to inspire them on their journey toward improved health.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

• A valid California state license to practice physical therapy.

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Physical Therapist, with demonstrated competency in manual therapy techniques.

• A commitment to continuous professional development, reflecting a clear passion for quality patient care.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients on their healing journey.

Preferred Experience

Preferred qualifications include:

• Certification in Pilates or experience with Pilates techniques.

• NAIOMT training or experience with IASTM techniques.

• Experience in treating vestibular and post-concussion patients, as these specialties are valued within our practice.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
