Work Environment

Our onsite outpatient office is a vibrant and supportive setting where collaboration is key. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at OrthoSport PT, you will have a crucial role in the recovery journey of our patients. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to establish baseline metrics for their treatment.
• Creating personalized treatment plans that reflect each patient's needs, goals, and progress.
• Implementing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other rehabilitation strategies to facilitate recovery.
• Educating patients and their families about treatment processes, expected outcomes, and exercises to perform at home for optimal recovery.
• Documenting all assessment findings and treatment progress in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient care quality.
• Staying abreast of industry innovations and best practices in physical therapy to continuously enhance service delivery.
• Providing emotional support and motivation to patients, helping them navigate their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-operative care following surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with athletes and active individuals eager to regain their mobility and strength, creating opportunities for impactful rehabilitation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current Physical Therapy license valid in the state of California.
• A valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be maintained throughout employment.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Additionally, the following skills and experiences are strongly preferred:

• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with equipment utilized in sports rehabilitation.
• Experience in working with patients recovering from sports injuries, surgical procedures, or those managing chronic pain conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
