Work Environment

This position is an onsite role within our home care setting, where you will interact with a diverse range of patients. You will be collaborating in a dynamic team environment alongside two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and define treatment objectives.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure personalized attention and high-quality care.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Educate and guide patients on exercises and modalities aimed at improving their range of motion and mobility.
• Promote patient autonomy by encouraging non-surgical alternatives to medication and fostering sustainable health habits.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
• Regularly assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve the desired outcomes.
• Ensure accurate documentation of therapy services using EMR software like WebPT.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance treatment effectiveness and ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation. Our patient population ranges from post-operative recovery cases to individuals seeking relief from chronic pain or mobility issues. Qualifications

• DPT (Doctorate in Physical Therapy) is required.
• Valid license as a Physical Therapist in California with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise programs.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating an ability to manage diverse caseloads and effectively treat musculoskeletal conditions.
• Familiarity with chronic pain management techniques and strategies aimed at minimizing reliance on medication is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, reflecting the experience and expertise of the ideal candidate.
