Work Environment

The role will take place on-site at our Riverside outpatient facility, where you will work closely with a diverse and multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. You will interact daily with patients of varying backgrounds and rehabilitation needs, ensuring that each individual receives tailored care.

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will perform a wide array of duties designed to enhance patient recovery:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify limitations and functional impairments related to musculoskeletal issues and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect patients' goals, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as heat and ice therapy.
• Administer manual therapy techniques, including soft tissue mobilization and joint mobilization, aimed at alleviating pain and improving range of motion.
• Design and instruct patients on specific exercise regimens to enhance their strength, flexibility, and coordination, ensuring adherence to progress benchmarks.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a broad patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-rehabilitation care. You will engage directly with patients to understand their specific rehabilitation goals and tailor treatment approaches accordingly, ensuring that recovery is both effective and personal.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Physical Therapist License issued in the State of California.
• A National Provider Identifier for insurance and billing purposes.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Preferred Experience

While all applications are welcome, candidates with 2 years of experience in a private practice or outpatient orthopedic setting are preferred. Additionally, strong manual therapy skills, clinical reasoning abilities, and the capacity to communicate effectively with patients and their families will set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits
