Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in a home care setting, primarily collaborating with a team of two other physical therapists and a PTA. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced professional life. You'll interact directly with patients, providing personalized care that recognizes each individual's journey toward recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and individualized attention.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic approaches in alignment with best practices.
• Deliver cost-effective solutions that promote enhanced mobility, minimizing the need for medications and surgical interventions.
• Stay active in motivating patients through challenging therapy sessions and celebrate their milestones to ensure ongoing engagement.
• Constantly assess and monitor the effectiveness of treatment, providing timely adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Document and maintain detailed records of patient progress and the services provided to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors and other healthcare professionals, for optimal patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We primarily serve individuals with orthopedic conditions, enabling them to overcome challenges related to surgery, injuries, or chronic pain through focused rehabilitation programs. Our patients often come to us with private medical insurance, which allows us to provide enhanced services and expand the treatment options available.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a strong foundation in advanced clinical practices.
• Must possess a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California; candidates should have a clean record, free of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques is essential for effective patient care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings will significantly enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Track record of developing and implementing personalized exercise regimens and wellness programs tailored to patients' needs.

Compensation and Benefits
