Position Overview

Muscle Care Orthopedic Clinic is actively seeking a skillful and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will actively participate in the rehabilitation process, working closely with patients to restore their mobility and improve their overall quality of life. You will engage with patients across a variety of orthopedic conditions and contribute to evidence-based interventions tailored to meet their individual needs.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in Moreno Valley. The clinic features a well-equipped therapy area designed to facilitate various therapies, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, and functional training sessions. Your workspace will be collaborative, allowing you to engage with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive patient care effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their unique goals and medical histories.
• Manage a patient caseload, conducting one-on-one treatment sessions, typically focusing on one patient per hour to ensure high-quality care.
• Utilize various evidence-based interventions that enhance patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall well-being while aiming to reduce reliance on pain medications and invasive surgical procedures.
• Create and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that align with the specific needs and capabilities of each patient.
• Document treatment progress and responses meticulously, while employing EMR Software, such as WebPT, for optimal record-keeping and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive strategies are in place for patient care and management.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes and make timely adjustments to the care strategy in accordance with patients' progress.
• Motivate patients towards achieving their rehabilitation milestones, promoting a proactive approach to health management.
• Educate patients about injury prevention and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle post-recovery through proper strength, flexibility, and balance training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal systems. You will employ a holistic approach, addressing not just physical rehabilitation but also the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery, ensuring patients feel empowered and supported throughout their healing journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist with a clean professional record, free from any board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques and the ability to apply them effectively within treatment protocols.
• Exceptional capability in developing and implementing individualized exercise protocols tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, reinforcing your familiarity with the specific challenges and nuances of this environment.
• Previous experience with sports rehabilitation is a plus, as this will broaden the scope of care provided to our diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive compensation package ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 per year , commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
