Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient office in Moreno Valley, which features modern therapy equipment and adequate space for individual and group sessions. You will join a collaborative team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to providing personalized care. Our practice operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will:

• Assess and identify patients' rehabilitation needs, articulating their goals and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Provide care to a caseload of patients, with an average of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and individualized attention.
• Employ a diverse range of treatment techniques to facilitate optimal recovery and mobility.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to minimize reliance on medications and explore non-surgical alternatives.
• Design and adapt exercise programs that reflect each patient's unique needs and progress.
• Document all treatment sessions meticulously to maintain compliance and continuity of care.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings with clients and the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Encourage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey to foster improvements in their physical functions.
• Promote general health by offering education on lifestyle choices that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus primarily on patients seeking outpatient orthopedic care, including those recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Most patients will have private medical insurance, allowing for tailored pricing and treatment options that meet their specific recovery needs.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California, with no disciplinary actions against it.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to design exercise regimens.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to efficiently document patient care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

We require a minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care, showcasing your competence and knowledge in managing a diverse patient population. Familiarity with current industry best practices and physical therapy modalities would be advantageous.
