Position Overview

TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Riverside, California. In this pivotal role, you will be an integral part of our patients' rehabilitation journeys, focusing on restoring motion and enhancing their overall functionality. You will work closely with patients to implement tailored treatment plans, emphasizing improvements in mobility, pain management, and overall quality of life.

Our team consists of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) who collaborate to deliver exceptional outcomes grounded in patient-specific needs and evidence-based practices.

Work Environment

You will work onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility, equipped with advanced sports medicine technology that enhances the efficacy of patient treatment and recovery. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with two other physical therapists and a PTA, sharing knowledge and strategies to elevate the care provided to our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' goals and functional impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and optimize physical function.
• Manage a patient caseload, conducting one-on-one sessions to ensure focused and personalized care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities and interventions, including hands-on manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Explore cost-effective alternatives to medications and surgeries, guiding patients through their rehabilitation choices.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed based on outcomes and communication with the patient.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation throughout their treatment, fostering a proactive approach to recovery.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for all patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Proficient in the application of manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly familiarity with WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting with a strong focus on individualized patient care.
• Knowledge of current best practices and advancements in physical therapy interventions.
• Experience developing strength and flexibility programs tailored to both pre- and post-surgical patients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
