We prioritize patient-centered care, focusing primarily on individuals with private medical insurance, and our multidisciplinary team includes two seasoned physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) committed to delivering top-tier services.

Work Environment

The position is onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, featuring cutting-edge equipment and resources to assist in a variety of therapeutic practices. The work setting encourages collaboration among team members and fosters a supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients. Our typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured work-life balance while allowing for consistent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their specific rehabilitation needs and set achievable goals.
• Provide one-on-one patient treatment sessions with an expected caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring quality and engagement during each appointment.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques, supported by evidence-based practices, to improve patients' physical abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercises to address specific conditions.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans based on observed outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to motivate and educate them on their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Promote wellness and prevention strategies tailored to enhance patient strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Maintain accurate records of all patient interactions and care delivered using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic outpatient practice serves a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals who are covered by private medical insurance. The majority of our patients are seeking rehabilitation for post-surgical recovery, sports-related injuries, or chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping these patients regain their independence and functional abilities, fostering their confidence in movement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Clear professional record with no pending board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques.
• Proficient in developing personalized exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with EMR software platforms, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Ability to deliver personalized, evidence-based care that contributes to quality patient outcomes.
• Previous engagement in teaching or seminars focused on rehabilitation techniques would be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually.
