Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to develop individualized treatment plans that emphasize mobility improvement, pain reduction, and functional optimization.
• Deliver hands-on manual therapy and tailored therapeutic exercises, adapting methods based on each patient's progress and feedback to ensure effective outcomes.
• Educate patients on best practices for injury prevention, compliance with rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications aimed at fostering overall wellness.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare team members to integrate multidisciplinary strategies into patient care, attending case reviews and team meetings as necessary.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will lie on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions, who are seeking to regain their strength and mobility. You will interact with a range of individuals including athletes, post-operative patients, and those with long-term musculoskeletal issues, allowing you to apply diverse therapy techniques tailored to their specific rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is mandatory for this position.
• Active California state license to practice physical therapy is required.
• At least 2 years of practical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is essential for this role.
• Current CPR certification is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong patient relationships and deliver effective education.
• Austere time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently to enhance patient flow.

Preferred Experience

• Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
