Work Environment

This position is located in our outpatient office in Fontana, California, where you will work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. The practice is designed to offer a welcoming, supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients. The standard work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate patients' medical histories, current physical conditions, functional limitations, and personal goals, ensuring a holistic approach to their rehabilitation.
• Craft individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, aligning patient goals with appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they fully understand their treatment plans and can commit to their progress collaboratively.
• Implement treatment strategies including manual therapy techniques and progressive exercise prescriptions tailored to individual needs.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatment, adhering to all legal and regulatory guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. These individuals may be recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be vital in crafting tailored interventions that address not just their physical challenges but also their motivations and lifestyle aspirations.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California is mandatory.
• A clean professional record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.
• A minimum of three years of experience specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation is required.
• A strong foundation in manual therapy techniques is essential for effective patient treatment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
