Work Environment

This position is onsite, utilizing both aquatic therapy pools and spacious gym facilities designed for therapeutic practices. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, taking into account both medical history and current physical health.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize a blend of aquatic and land-based therapy techniques.
• Utilize a variety of therapy modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and aquatic therapy to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery routes.
• Educate patients and their families on their conditions and provide comprehensive instructions for home exercises and preventative measures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring a well-rounded approach to patient rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals with various orthopedic conditions such as pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, chronic pain disorders, and mild neurological issues. Your role will directly influence patient outcomes as you assess, treat, and educate clients in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license or the eligibility to obtain one before starting the position.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
