Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients by utilizing various diagnostic tests to evaluate range of motion, muscle strength, neurological function, and functional capacity. This will inform your development of a detailed treatment plan based on patient-specific needs and physician recommendations.
• Implement treatment plans that include a mix of manual therapy techniques, exercise regimens, and other modalities tailored to each patient's circumstances, with adjustments made as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
• Deliver safe and effective direct patient care through both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring adherence to best practices and patient safety protocols.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, self-care techniques, and home exercise programs to enhance recovery and empower them in managing their conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to holistically address patient needs, providing expertise on physical function and advising on treatment adjustments and the use of adaptive equipment.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to non-professional support personnel ensuring the quality of care and adherence to clinic protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current, valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience specializing in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• A clean professional record, with no disciplinary actions taken against your license.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
