We specialize in orthopedic care and primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, ensuring they receive high-quality, accessible treatment. Our team consists of dedicated professionals including two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for both staff and patients.

Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our outpatient office in Pomona, where you will be immersed in a vibrant and patient-centric atmosphere. The facility is designed to enhance rehabilitation experiences, featuring modern treatment areas and advanced equipment. You will work traditional business hours, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a work-life balance while contributing to the health and well-being of your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to recognize the rehabilitation needs and goals of each patient.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused and personalized treatment.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques and modalities.
• Provide hands-on, cost-effective treatments that enhance motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout the treatment process to optimize their recovery and functional abilities.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' individual needs and physical capabilities.
• Collaborate with fellow health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care that promotes optimal outcomes.
• Evaluate treatment effects regularly, monitor patients' progress, and facilitate effective communication regarding ongoing care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatment services provided to uphold clinical standards and ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Serving primarily patients with private medical insurance, you will treat individuals with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our patient population is diverse, and you will have the opportunity to devise tailored treatment strategies that address each patient's unique circumstances, fostering their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active physical therapy license in California is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is essential.
• No record of board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability in designing and implementing exercise programs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, including WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor's Degree is the minimum educational requirement, candidates with a DPT will be given preference. Ideal candidates will also have established experience in collaborative healthcare settings, demonstrating exceptional manual therapy skills and competency in tailoring treatment plans to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
