Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will work in a modern facility equipped with cutting-edge technology to facilitate superior patient care. Our friendly team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to providing exceptional service. In this role, you will enjoy a structured work schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while you help our patients regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to identify and assess their individual goals and needs during the rehabilitation process.
• Deliver targeted therapy sessions, treating 2-3 patients per hour, to effectively improve their mobility and function.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop cost-effective treatment plans that reduce the reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Create and implement personalized wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient's specific requirements.
• Offer evidence-based interventions and treatments to help patients optimize their physical capabilities.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment, fostering a positive environment for recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress regularly to maintain accurate records.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment strategies based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation services. Many of our clients are recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. By employing innovative therapy techniques, you will directly contribute to restoring their movement and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with no board actions or disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficient manual therapy skills and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercises.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with a diverse range of treatment modalities and rehabilitation methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
