Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our outpatient office, where you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including other healthcare providers, to deliver comprehensive patient care. Our office is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and tools that facilitate effective treatment methodologies. Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced professional life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions to determine tailored treatment plans based on individual goals and needs.
• Manage a patient load, seeing one patient per hour, ensuring thorough attention and personalization of care.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to provide cost-effective treatment options focused on improving mobility and functionality.
• Develop detailed care plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques, adapting as necessary to meet patient progress.
• Implement fitness and wellness programs tailored to enhance physical performance, address orthopedic issues, and drive recovery.
• Document and maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress notes, using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Provide educational resources and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging the adoption of a healthier lifestyle.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The population we serve primarily consists of individuals undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-surgical patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals with chronic pain issues. Our goal is to create a supportive and empowering environment for patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals, enhancing their mobility, strength, and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in California, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in designing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Demonstrated ability to create individualized patient care strategies based on specific health challenges.
• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative care environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
