Work Environment

The work setting for this role is onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, a facility designed to promote healing, recovery, and overall wellness. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, in a collaborative environment alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and support staff. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Administering comprehensive patient care based on the prescriptions from referring physicians, ensuring every treatment aligns with best practices.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients using appropriate assessment tools to determine physical capabilities and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Designing and implementing innovative treatment programs aimed at achieving specific therapeutic goals, documenting progress meticulously.
• Monitoring patient progress closely during treatments and making necessary adjustments to programs based on observed outcomes and patient feedback.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient management strategies, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
• Contributing to quality improvement initiatives by reviewing treatment efficacy and participating in program evaluations.
• Educating patients and their families about rehabilitation strategies and promoting safe practices to encourage independence and recovery.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with departmental policies to facilitate continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists work with a diverse population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, stroke recovery, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current, unrestricted physical therapy license in California and in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant physical therapy experience, demonstrating competency in patient assessment and treatment design.
• Excellent communication skills to foster relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
• A positive, proactive approach to addressing clinical challenges and the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experience is preferred:

• Experience with specific patient demographics, such as geriatrics or pediatrics.
• Familiarity with various physical therapy modalities and the usage of rehabilitation technology.
• Prior involvement in interdisciplinary care teams or initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
