This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for staff, visitors, and vendors while documenting incidents, observations, and/or requested assistance. Support hospital operations by assisting with de-escalation, reporting security-related concerns, and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of corrections, law enforcement, military and/or degree in criminal justice. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Guard card is required. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
