We're looking for a dependable CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision work and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) Includes shift differential + weekend opportunitiesDuties:Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts based on blueprints and work instructionsMake tool, offset, and machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiencyRead and interpret prints, job routings, and specs with minimal supervisionInspect parts using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision toolsMonitor quality and identify any non-conforming parts or processesComplete production and quality documentation accuratelyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S standards)Communicate with team members and leadership to keep production running smoothlySupport continuous improvement efforts and learn multiple machines as neededMust Haves:2+ years of CNC machining or manufacturing experienceAbility to read blueprints and engineering drawingsStrong mechanical aptitude and basic math skillsExperience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environmentReliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a teamNice to Haves:Experience running multiple CNC machines or rotating between machinesFamiliarity with 5S or lean manufacturing environmentsWork Environment:Fast-paced manufacturing facility working with metal or graphite materialsPhysical role – standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, and occasional climbingWeekend availability required (typically 2 weekends per month)Why Apply:Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision401(k) with company matchPaid time off and additional leave programsTuition reimbursement and growth opportunitiesStable company with a strong focus on safety and employee developmentJob Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Solon, OH.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
