We’re seeking people with energy and compassion, who can make learning about Takeoff by IXL an enjoyable experience for educators. This is a remote position for candidates located in the New York, NY, metro area. #LI-REMOTEWHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGIntroduce our new math core curriculum program to new and existing customers #LI-NEWYORKCITYPartner with IXL Learning K-12 field sales management and sales representatives to strategize, present, and execute IXL’s core curriculum math program in your assigned region, building strong relationships with these teamsDevelop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide personalized assistance throughout the sales process and adoption cycleLeverage market and product knowledge to increase salesDeliver highly effective presentations to a wide variety of educators including administrators and teachersDemonstrate a strong understanding of all IXL productsUnderstand and keep up-to-date with ever-changing market trends Partner with sales reps to prospect specific district and state departments Preparation work for state and local adoptionsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORBA/BS degree 3+ years of prior EdTech sales experiencePrior experience selling K-12 core curriculum5+ years of teaching and/or school administrative experienceBackground in Math, both teaching and sales preferredPrior core curriculum adoption experienceExceptional presentation skills, as well as one-on-one conversational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable with educational technology (Tech-savvy)Passion for bringing technology into the classroomAptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finishAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to travel up to 85% of the timeMust live no more than 45 minutes from a major airportThe base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $105,000 + commission eligibility + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.
